The method of reducing contact between people is called social distancing. According to the CDC, "social distancing is a way to reduce the incidence of human-to-human contact in order to reduce the risk of transmitting the disease." 

Social distancing is an important way to prevent all infections like Covid-19. This is a drug-free procedure. In this method, it is possible to reduce the infection by maintaining a safe distance from the infected person. 

The infection is usually spread through sneezing, coughing or touching. Which can be reduced by maintaining social distance. This reduces the mortality rate as well as prevents new infections. This is a very effective method to prevent airborne diseases. 

This is done by closing down ordinary schools, restricting trade and commerce, closing down public transport, closing down public gatherings, and restricting recreational activities. Infections such as isolation or quarantine or cordon sanitizer are used to prevent infection. Wearing a mask is one of the methods of this system. 

There are some downsides to maintaining social distancing. Loneliness problem, lack of creativity, unemployment problem is a big problem in this system. Despite having some problems, this method plays a very important role in the prevention of airborne, waterborne and contagious diseases. Therefore, everyone should adhere to social distancing to prevent a serious infection like Covid-19.
